FF Ream Ships Out

Tomorrow, FF Dave Ream leaves for U.S. Army boot camp.  The members of West Hempfield wish Dave the best, and have nothing but respect for his desire to serve his country.  Be safe, and we'll see you back home soon!

Work Continues on the New Rescue

The box for the new rescue continues to make progress. The rear stairway is mostly finished, and the walkway on the top is taking shape. In addition to this progress, the inner workings of the compartments are coming along too.

Annual HazMat Refresher

On Saturday, the volunteers met to perform their required annual hazardous materials refresher course.  After some time in the classroom, we headed out to perform practical evolutions.  Crews spent time practicing decontamination setup, mass decontamination, and general hazardous materials best practices.
