After a few years of planning and many hours of hard work, the new rescue went into service on April 9th.  The new rescue is a SVI box built on a Spartan chassis.  Rescue 7-6 will provide better fire and rescue services to the residents of West Hempfield and surrounding areas.

On Saturday March 28th LT Ney took FF Haines and FF Kline out to train on the ATV at Lake Grubb and Chickies Rock Park.  While out training, they decided it would be a good time to clear the trails of trees and debris.
 
           

On Sunday cub scouts stopped in at station for some fire prevention training and for a station tour. Thank you FF KLINE, FF HUNT, and LT NEY for your help!

This saturday April 4th, 2009 is the first of the four annual Chicken BBQ here at West Hempfield Fire & Rescue Company. We hope to see you there. Chickens will be ready at 11am so get lined up. Meals are $8.00 and halfs $4.00 this year. Thanks for your support.
